Chapin Chariot is a locally owned rideshare and delivery service in Chapin, South Carolina, operated by Charles Corzo. This policy explains what information we collect when you book with us and how we use it.

When you request a ride or delivery through our website booking assistant, by phone, or by text, we collect:

Your name
Your phone number
Your email address (if you provide it)
Pickup and drop-off locations
Requested ride date and time, number of passengers, and any notes you give us
Whether you opted in to receive ride-related text messages

How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to provide our service: to schedule and confirm your booking, calculate your fare, get you to your destination, and communicate with you about your ride (such as confirmations, driver arrival updates, and questions about your trip). We keep basic booking records for our own scheduling, bookkeeping, and tax purposes.

We do not sell your personal information. We use a few service providers to run the business (for example, website hosting, email, calendar, spreadsheet, and text-messaging providers) and they only process your information to help us deliver your ride.

SMS / Text Messaging

If you check the SMS opt-in box when booking, Chapin Chariot will send you transactional text messages about your ride, such as a booking confirmation and driver arrival updates. Expect about 1–4 messages per booking. Consent to receive texts is not required to book a ride.

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and we will not text you again unless you opt back in.

Data Retention & Security

We keep booking information only as long as needed to provide our service and meet our record-keeping obligations, and we take reasonable steps to protect it.

Your Choices

You can ask us to update or delete your information, or stop text messages, at any time by contacting us below or replying STOP.
